Who is Venky?

Photriya Venky is one of the leading photographers in India. He practiced his skills as young man in JNTU, Hyderabad. With a gold medal in B.F.A(Photography) ; he started working independently since 2000. He established his professional studio “PHOTRIYA” in 2002. Venky conducted 60 seminars and workshops, 1000+ celebrity photo shoots, 800 weddings across the world.
With a zeal to support upcoming photographers in the country, Venky conducts Photography classes to teach upcoming photographers about professional Photography and Camera handling. He conducted 14 batches of Photography Classes in Hyderabad and trained approximately 250 photographers till date.

Why this Workshop?

Most of the Young, Urban population have started using DSLR’s these days. But, most of them shoot in Auto mode. If they have basic understanding of manual settings in their respective camera’s; they can click better pictures. This is the reason why Venky has planned to conduct workshops in USA. Also, Photriya is planning to start Photography services in USA from this Diwali.

Can I learn photography in 1 day workshop?

No, you can’t. No one can teach you photography in one day. But Venky is going to teach you how to correct your mistakes. He will make your camera user friendly. With this basic know-how, you’ll understand how to practice photography. Once you get your basics right, you can master photography in no time.

I've practiced enough, but who will clear my doubts post this workshop?

Ever since Venky has started teaching, all the students of Photriya stay in touch with him through their mails. All your concerns will be answered. In case you want to understand where your picture has gone wrong, send in that picture to photriya@gmail.com  along with your concern. Venky will help you out on how to rectify that mistake. We will always stay connected through mails

  The Fun time is back!

After 11 successful batches of photography classes, we are excited to announce the 12th  batch. 

Are you working ? or studying all week long? No problem! 

For your convenience, the classes would be held only on the weekends i.e. Saturdays ( Evening 6:30-8) And Sundays ( Morning 10:30-12). There would be a total of 9 classes starting June 9th till July 7th. 

In these 9 classes, everything - from basics of photography , camera options and settings , types of lenses and how to handle them to Portrait , candid , fashion and wedding photography insights would be covered.

Confused about how to use your camera in different types of lighting? Wondering what what the techniques are behind perfect lighting? We are here to help you with all your questions and queries. For the finalstouch ups we will teach you how to edit your photographs in Photoshop too. Everything mentioned above will be with theory followed by the practicals.

Is 9 classes enough to learn photography?

Good question! We don't say that we will make you a pro at photography, but what we definitely will do is to teach you all the basic concepts and techniques and also give you a hands-on experience in these 15+hours. Your zeal, passion and practice will then take you forward! With a photography experience of 15+ years and 11 batches, we have figured out the tried and tested ways to make it all easy for you. People from our 11 batches of photography are at present into professional photography and a few others are practicing photography as their favorite hobby. Rest assured, you will have a lot of learning and memories to take home after each class!

The classes will be conducted by Photriya Venky. Venky is an JNTU pass out (2003 batch) . He is into professional photography from the past 12 years and is one of the leading photographers excelling in Telugu Film Industry and Wedding photography. He has been organizing Photography workshops and classes from past 4 years. As the number of seats are limited , do enroll yourself as soon as possible.
